We began applications for the September 2026-2027 School Year in January 2026.  All rate information is available on our website prior to registration. Tours of the School are not required to apply to Holly Pond School.

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) recently changed the entry age for kindergarten.  For the 2026-2027 school year, children must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026, to enter Kindergarten.

New incoming 2’s, 3’s and 4’s for 2026-2027 school year (including siblings of currently enrolled students) will follow these admission guidelines:

• 2-year-old students must be two by September 1, 2026
• 3-year-old students must be three by September 1, 2026
• 4-year-old students must be four by September 1, 2026

As of January 1, 2026, you can begin the registration process for Holly Pond School.

1. You will need to complete separate application forms for EACH child you are registering.
2. You will indicate your first, second, and third choice for your preferred class days and times for both a morning and an afternoon options.
3. Your application will be considered complete once your $50 application fee has been submitted.

The process is a lottery for all children applying to Holly Pond School.

• If you are currently enrolled at Holly Pond School, you will be notified on Jan 31 of your child’s placement. Your $500 deposit will be due at this time.
• If you are a new student, you will be emailed about your child’s class placement. If you accept the spot, you will be required to pay the required deposit of $500.
• We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks.

 All students must have a YMCA membership as of September 1, 2026.
