Marli’s Story

I believe in the mission and values of the YMCA. I admire that the work the Darien YMCA does is focused on both Darien AND the greater community. Because of my involvement with the Darien YWCA, I have spent many years partnering with local non-profits and know that the Darien YMCA is in a very unique position to continue to do great things – particularly with Mental Health and Diversity. I see the YMCA as far more than a place to work out and I am thrilled to help share that aspect of the YMCA with more people in Darien. My connection to the Y nationally extends to our time in Florida too when both my husband and I were involved with the local YMCA’s. I am looking forward to continue to work with such a great organization.
