PayPal has been assessed for compliance with the PCI DSS v2.0 requirements by K3DES LLC, an approved Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). The results of this assessment found PayPal functioning in a PCI DSS V2.0 compliant manner as a Level 1 Service Provider.
