NEW IN THE SPRING 2012!!

For boys & girls in grades 6th – 8th

Flag Rugby is a non-contact sport similar to flag football.  It’s perfect for kids of all sizes and abilities.  The program is open to boys and girls in grades 6th through 8th.  Flag Rugby promotes excellent skill development, teamwork, health, and fitness.  The emphasis is on learning the game, rules, skills, teamwork and having fun!  No experience needed!

The program will be instructed by Darien H.S. Asst. Rugby coach Joe Pietrafeso.  Joe played rugby at Greenwich High School.  He went on to play at Central CT State University, where they qualified for the Division II National Championships.  He has been coaching Rugby since 2003.  He will be assisted by Darien H.S. Rugby players.

Registration:  Members- March 1 at 10:00 AM

                     Non-Members- March 8 at 10:00 AM

Program will begin the week of March 26th and end the weekend of June 2nd.

Wednesdays:   3:30 – 4:30 PM at Middlesex Middle School

Saturdays:  9:30 – 11:00 AM at Darien High School
